SALEM, VA. – Sophomore
Kelly Radigan (Fayetteville/Fayetteville-Manlius) scored seven points on five goals and two assists to lead the nationally 16th-ranked Cortland women's lacrosse team to an 18-12 win at Roanoke Friday afternoon. The Red Dragons improved to 2-0 with the win, while the Maroons fell to 2-4.

Lindsay Abbott (South Onondaga/Onondaga Central) contributed three goals and two assists in the Cortland win, and seniors
Jess Fritz (Baldwinsville/C.W. Baker) and
Nicki Mahoney (Canandaigua/Canandaigua Academy) each recorded three goals and an assist. Junior
Bri Shost (Mahopac) scored twice, freshman
Maria Di Fato (Camillus/West Genesee) added a goal, two assists and seven ground balls and freshman
Gina Campese (East Syracuse/East Syracuse-Minoa) tallied one goal. Freshman
Ally Levy (Reisterstown, MD/Seton Keough) started in goal and made eight saves in 51 minutes, eight seconds, before giving way to sophomore
Amanda Caloia (Baldwinsville/C.W. Baker), who did not stop a shot in the final 8:52.
Senior Gina Valles (South Windsor, CT/Westminster) led Roanoke with four goals. Senior Paige Mason (Orangeville, ON) recorded a hat trick, junior Carolyn Miller (Clinton, MD/St. Mary's Ryken) scored twice and juniors Mary Kate Cummings (Springfield, VA/South County), Alyssa Greer (New Windsor, MD/Francis Scott Key) and Meegan Rourke (Greenwich, CT/Millbrook School) each netted a goal. Freshman Laura Zdziarski (Gainesville, FL/Buchholz) started in the cage and registered five saves in 40:46. Freshman Casey Esloon (Kingwood, TX) made five saves over the final 19:14.
