The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has recognized 156 SUNY Cortland winter and spring sports student-athletes on its All-Academic and Commissioner's List teams for the 2009-10 season.

Athletes earn a spot on the All-Academic LIst by recording at least a 3.3 grade point average during the most recent semester and are chosen to the Commissioner's List if they have at least a cumulative 3.3 grade point average over the past three semesters combined.

The 156 Cortland selections include 31 women's track and field athletes, 14 women's ice hockey players, 13 athletes each from the men's lacrosse and women's gymnastics teams, and 12 athletes each from the men's track and field and softball teams. In addition, 10 athletes from the women's swimming and diving team were honored along with nine each from men's ice hockey, women's basketball and women's lacrosse, eight each from wrestling and baseball, seven from men's swimming and diving and one from men's basketball.
