Cortland junior goalie Lexi Ramonetti (Northport) has been named the PrestoSports State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 10.

Ramonetti posted a 1-0-1 record with 18 saves, a 1.000 save percentage, a 0.00 GAA and two shutouts in a pair of SUNYAC road games last weekend. In a 0-0 double-overtime tie at Geneseo on Friday, she registered a career-best eight saves. Ramonetti improved on that mark with a career-high 10 saves as the Red Dragons defeated Brockport, 3-0, on Saturday. 
 
For the season, Ramonetti has posted a 4-1-1 record with a 0.17 GAA, a .970 save percentage and four solo shutouts, all in SUNYAC play. 
 
Cortland (6-4-2, 4-1-1 SUNYAC) is currently tied for second place in the SUNYAC standings. The Red Dragons will host Oswego in a conference matchup Saturday at 1 p.m.
