Senior women's basketball guard Emily Morano (Olyphant, PA/Mid Valley) and sophomore baseball third baseman Dylan Mackenzie (Canandaigua/Canandaigua Academy) have been chosen as the SUNY Cortland Athletes of the Week for the week ending March 5.

Emily Morano

Emily averaged 21.5 points per game in two NCAA playoff games for the Red Dragons. She scored 24 points and grabbed five rebounds in a 62-51 win over Saint Vincent in the opening round and finished with 19 points, four assists and four rebounds in a 64-59 second-round loss to host Trinity (Conn.)

Dylan Mackenzie

Dylan batted .500 (6-for-12) with nine RBI in a 3-0 weekend. He was 4-for-6 with five RBI, including two-run singles in the first two innings, in an 11-2 win at 11th-ranked Shenandoah. He went 2-for-4 with three RBI in a 13-4 win over Susquehanna Saturday and drove in a run and walked to start the winning ninth-inning rally in a 4-2 win over Susquehanna Sunday.
