Cortland Women's Golf heads to Williamsburg, Va. for the NCAA Div. III Women's Golf Championship beginning Tuesday
SUNY Cortland will be one of 34 schools competing at the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships May 13-16 at the Kingsmill Resort & Spa Plantation Course in Williamsburg, Va.
The Red Dragons earned the program's third NCAA team berth by capturing the Northeast Women's Golf Conference (NWGC) title April 26-27. Cortland finished 24th at the national championship in 2022 and 26th at the national championship in 2023.
Competition begins on Tuesday, with Cortland's first tee time at 8:00 a.m. The tournament continues on Wednesday, with Cortland's first tee time at 9:00 a.m. After 36 holes, the field will be cut to the top 15 teams and top six individuals not on one of those teams for Thursday and Friday's final two rounds.

Gina Milazzo (Greenwood Lake/Warwick Valley) – 8:36 a.m. tee time Tuesday

Milazzo was the NWGC Rookie of the Year and a first team NWGC all-conference selection after finishing second with a 27-hole score of 119 at the NWGC Championship. Milazzo has an adjusted scoring average of 80.3 for the season, and has posted a single-day best of 71 to tie the school record on the second day of the Ithaca Invitational. Milazzo's best two-day score for the season is 146, earning medalist honors at the Ithaca Invitational.Â

Sophie Oristian (North Potomac, MD/Quince Orchard) – 8:27 tee time Tuesday

Oristian earned first team NWGC all-conference honors with a 27-hole score of 121 to finish tied for third at the NWGC Championship. She has an adjusted scoring average of 85.7 for the season, and posted a single-round score of 75 on the second day of the Catholic Cardinal Spring Classic. Oristian also posted her best two-day score of the season at Catholic, finishing seventh with a 161.Â

Pia Aguilar (Santiago, Chile/Colegio Highlands) – 8:18 a.m. tee time Tuesday

Aguilar was a second team NWGC all-conference selection after finishing tied for eighth with a 27-hole score of 133 at the NWGC Championship. She registered a single-day best of 83 at the Cortaca Cup, and finished with her best two-day score of the season with a 177 at the Ithaca Invitational.Â

Mimi Rienzo (Stewartsville, NJ/Phillipsburg) – 8:09 a.m. tee time Tuesday

Rienzo enters the national championship with a single-day best of 81 at the NWGC Fall Invitational, also tying for second at the event. She posted her best two-day score of 170 at the Ithaca Invitational to finish tied for 17th. Rienzo also has posted scores of 85 or better five times during the season.Â

Kara Dumas (Jefferson/Gilboa-Conesville) – 8:00 a.m. tee time Tuesday

Dumas was the fourth scorer for the Red Dragons in helping Cortland win the NWGC Championship and earn a national championship berth. She has posted a single-day best of 87 two times during the season at the Ithaca Invitational and at the Catholic Cardinal Spring Classic. Her top two-day score is a 176 at the Catholic Cardinal Spring Classic.
