Sophomore women's gymnast Tayah Graham (Syracuse/Blaze Gymnastics) and junior men's basketball forward Joel Davis (Watertown) have been named the SUNY Cortland Athletes of the Week for the week ending February 8.

Tayah Graham

Tayah tied for first on vault with a career-high tying 9.75 and tied for second on balance beam with a season-best 9.675 at the three-team Ithaca Marranca Invitational. Her vault score helped Cortland posted a team score of 48.30 in the event - the fifth-best in school history.

Joel Davis

Joel averaged 18.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game and shot 59 percent from the field in two home victories. He recorded 23 points and 11 rebounds in a 104-41 win over Potsdam in which the Red Dragons posted their largest margin of victory in 73 years.
