Cortland women's gymnastics head coach Sulekha Modi has been chosen as the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Division III East Region Coach of the Year, and Cortland associate athletic directors Courtney Wormuth and Jaclyn Lawrence have been named the WCGA East Region Administrators of the Year, for the 2025-26 season.

Modi led Cortland to a second-place finish at the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) East Regional and the program's third straight berth into the six-team NCGA national championship meet. During the season, Cortland twice broke the program team scoring record, posting a score of 192.80 during a dual meet at Ithaca and a 193.00 at the NCGA East Regional. The Red Dragons surpassed the 190-point team scoring mark in eight of their 10 meets, and they set a school floor exercise record with a team score of 49.075 at the Empire State Collegiate Championship.

Wormuth and Lawrence were driving forces behind Cortland hosting two prestigious meets during the season. Cortland was the host of the six-team Empire State Collegiate Championship in mid-February as well as the NCGA National Championships in mid-March. Cortland hosted the national meet for the third time overall and the first since 2008 - the competition featured six full teams along with individual qualifiers from nine other schools.

Wormuth has served on the Cortland Athletics staff since 2011 and Lawrence, a 2012 Cortland alumna, has been part of the staff since 2014.
