Alexandra Thut (Poughquag/Arlington) and sophomores
Anneli Adams (Burnt Hills/Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) and
Gabriella Stanley (Buffalo/Niagara Wheatfield) have been named to the 2026 Division III Women's Tennis Academic All-District team for District 3.

The all-district teams are selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC). In Division III, District 3 encompasses all schools in New York State. Recipients must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically with a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average and meet certain requirements in terms of contests competed in and athletic accomplishments.

Thut is an adolescence education: math major with a 3.56 overall GPA prior to the spring semester. Thut posted a 5-9 record in singles play, including a 3-3 mark at fifth singles, and had a 5-8 record at second doubles.

Adams is an early childhood and childhood education major with a 3.58 overall GPA entering the spring semester. She finished 5-9 at third doubles and 4-6 singles record, primarily on the fifth and sixth flights.

Stanley is a psychology major with a 3.52 overall GPA prior to the spring semester. She finished 5-8 in singles action, mainly on the third flight, and was 5-8 at second doubles.

Cortland finished the season with a 7-7 dual-match record. The Red Dragons placed third in the SUNYAC regular season with a 3-2 mark to qualify for the league's four-team postseason tournament. Cortland defeated Oswego in the semifinals before losing to New Paltz in the finals, and its second-place league finish was its best since 2005.
