Twelve Cortland student-athletes have been named to the 2025-26 Division III Men's and Women's Track and Field/Cross Country Academic All-District teams for District 3.

The all-district teams are selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC). In Division III, District 3 encompasses all schools in New York State. Recipients must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically with a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average and meet certain requirements in terms of athletic accomplishments.

Brunache and Wolcott each earned the award for the third straight year. Collette, Ndukwu and Quinn all earned the honor last year, and Sobczyk was an all-district selection two years ago in 2023-24.

Brunache is an exercise science major who graduated with a 3.91 overall GPA. He earned three first-team All-America honors during the 2025-26 school year, finishing fifth nationally in the weight throw and seventh in the shot put at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships, and eighth in the discus at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships. He was named the USTFCCCA Niagara Region Field Athlete of the Year and the SUNYAC Field Athlete of the Year for both the indoor and outdoor seasons, and he won SUNYAC titles in the shot put and weight throw indoors and the shot put and discus outdoors.

Collette is an exercise major with a 3.94 overall GPA. He was an indoor first-team All-American with a seventh place national finish in the weight throw and a second-team All-American outdoors with a 13th-place finish in the hammer throw. He earned All-Niagara Region honors in three events - the shot put and weight throw indoors and the hammer throw outdoors - and he won the SUNYAC outdoor title in the hammer throw, finished second in the conference in the weight throw indoors, and was third in the shot put indoors.

Garafola is a physical education major who finished his undergraduate work with a 3.54 overall GPA. During the indoor season he earned All-Niagara Region honors and was a SUNYAC champion as part of Cortland's 4x400-meter relay team, and he finished fourth in the conference and ranked 16th regionally in the 400-meter dash. Outdoors, he placed eighth in the SUNYAC and was 25th regionally in the 400-meter dash.

Hogue is a physical education major with a 3.63 overall GPA. He earned three SUNYAC top-eight finishes, placing third in the hammer throw and seventh in the discus during the outdoor season and sixth in the shot put indoors. He ranked ninth regionally in the hammer, 16th in the discus and 18th in the shot put outdoors and in the top 25 indoors in the weight throw and shot put.

Kennedy is an adolescence education: social studies major with a 3.71 overall GPA. During the outdoor season, he ranked 11th regionally and finished second in the SUNYAC in the 400-meter hurdles. He did not compete during the indoor season.

Melious is an adolescence education: social studies major with a 3.65 overall GPA. He earned All-Niagara Region honors in the triple jump during both the indoor and outdoor seasons, each with seventh-place spots in the regional rankings. He finished third in the event at the SUNYAC indoor championships and fourth at the conference outdoor championships. In addition, he ranked 17th regionally indoors and 33rd outdoors in the long jump.

Ndukwu is an inclusive childhood education major who graduated with a 3.67 overall GPA. She qualified for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the hammer throw, placing 20th nationally, and earned All-Niagara Region honors outdoors in the hammer throw (ranked first) and shot put (ranked eighth). She posted a third-place SUNYAC finish in the hammer and fourth-place effort in the shot put. Indoors, she won the SUNYAC title and earned all-region honors in the weight throw and finished fifth in the conference in the shot put.

Quinn is a sport management major who finished with a 3.95 overall GPA. Quinn earned first-team All-America honors with a tie for seventh place in the high jump at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships, and she ranked first in the Niagara Region to earn all-region honors. She also won the AARTFC title and was SUNYAC runner-up in the event, and she was sixth in the SUNYAC and 25th in the region in the long jump. During the indoor season, Quinn was named the SUNYAC Field Athlete of the Year after winning conference high jump and long jump titles and earning all-region honors in both events.

Sobczyk is an early childhood and childhood education major who graduated with a 3.95 overall GPA. During the outdoor season, she was part of Cortland's SUNYAC championship 4x100-meter relay team and she finished in the conference third in the 100-meter dash and fifth in the 200-meter dash. She earned All-Niagara Region recognition in both the 100-meter dash (ranked fifth regionally) and 4x100-meter relay (ranked fourth regionally). Indoors, she was the SUNYAC runner-up in the 60-meter dash and finished eighth in the 200-meter dash. She ranked eighth in the 60-meter dash to earn all-region honors.

Swyers is a sport management major with a 3.58 overall GPA. She finished second in the triple jump, fourth in the 60-meter hurdles and fifth in the long jump at the SUNYAC Championships during the indoor season, and was ranked in the top 16 in the region in all three events. Outdoors, she was SUNYAC runner-up in the long jump, fourth in the 100-meter hurdles and fifth in the triple jump. She ranked 13th regionally in the 100-meter hurdles and also was in the top 30 in the region in the triple and long jumps.

Tretola is a criminology major with a 3.52 overall GPA. During the indoor season, she won the SUNYAC title and earned All-Niagara Region honors in the shot put and finished eighth in the SUNYAC in the weight throw. Outdoors, she was the SUNYAC runner-up in the shot put and placed third in the discus, and was ranked in the top 15 regionally in both events.

Wolcott is a fitness development major who graduated with a 3.80 overall GPA. During cross country season, she earned All-Niagara Region honors with a 31st-place regional finish and picked up second-team All-SUNYAC honors with an eighth-place conference finish. She finished fourth in the SUNYAC and ranked 21st regionally in the 5,000-meter run during the indoor season, and also ranked in the top 40 in the 3,000 meters and the mile run, and during the outdoor season she was an all-region honoree and the SUNYAC runner-up in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in addition to being ranked 34th regionally in the 1,500 meters and 43rd in the 5,000 meters.
