Cortland Men's and Women's Teams Earns CSCAA Academic Awards; Three Red Dragons Individual Honorees

The SUNY Cortland men's and women's swimming and diving teams have been recognized as Scholar All-America Teams for the 2025-26 season by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

The CSCAA Scholar All-America team awards are given to programs that have achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2026 spring semester. The Red Dragon women finished with a 3.35 team GPA for the semester and the men finished with a 3.01 team GPA among all team members who competed in at least one meet during the season.

In addition, three Red Dragons - senior Kevin Kohlhoff (West Islip), junior Calvin Eggleston (Antwerp/Indian River) and junior Alyssa Haberlack (Long Beach) - were named to the CSCAA Individual Scholar All-America Men's and Women's second team. Individual honorees must achieve a 3.50 GPA. First teamers also must have participated at nationals, while second teamers must have competed at either diving zone qualification meets or have achieved "B" standards in their event. Kohlhoff, Eggleston and Haberlack were each NCAA Division III Region 4 (Northeast/South) Diving Regional qualifiers last spring. Kohlhoff, who graduated in May, was a selected studies major who posted a 3.70 GPA in the spring. Eggleston, an outdoor recreation major, had a 3.74 GPA this past spring, and Haberlack, a sport management major, registered a 3.75 GPA in the spring.
