Cortland freshman Chloe Tice (Syracuse/Cicero-North Syracuse) has been named the Northeast Women's Golf Conference (NWGC) Rookie of the Week for the week ending Sept. 20. She captured the award for the second straight week.

Tice tied for 10th place out of 24 golfers at the two-day Union Fall Invitational this past Saturday and Sunday. She finished with a combined score of 168 on the par-73 Mohawk Golf Club layout, opening with an 85 followed by an 83.

Cortland returns to action this Saturday and Sunday at the Catholic University Fall Classic in Hagerstown, Md.
