Prior to Cortland: Attended Erie Community College...Two-year member of the baseball team...Made 25 appearances with 10 starts over two seasons, pitching 58.0 innings and striking out 58 batters and earning four saves...Team reached NJCAA Final Four in freshman year in 2023-24. 

High School: Graduated from Lockport in 2023...Three-year starter as a pitcher on the baseball team...Team competed for sectional title in junior year.

Other: Hobbies include fishing, golfing, and hiking...Parents are Kimberly and Jason Knuutila...Has two siblings, Matthew and Jillian...Father Jason played baseball at Niagara County Community College and SUNY Brockport from 1993-97.
