Prior to Cortland: Jakob attended SUNY Broome and Mansfield University...Two-year member of the cross country team at Broome...Earned second team All-America honors...Competed in outdoor track at Broome...Placed seventh in the 1,500 meters at the NJCAA National Championships...Member of the indoor track and field team at Mansfield.

High School: Graduated from Windsor in 2019...Member of the National Honor Society...Member of the cross country and track and field teams...Finished 32nd at cross country state meet as a senior.
