Biography

2024: JT saw action in four games during the season for the Red Dragons...Made six catches for 130 yards and one touchdown...Caught three passes for 67 yards and a touchdown, including a season-long catch of 35 yards and a 29-yard touchdown reception, in a home win over Hartwick...Made one catch for 28 yards in a road win at Hilbert...Had an 18-yard reception in a home win over Lycoming...Snared one pass for 17 yards in a home win over St. John Fisher.

2023: Did not compete due to injury.

2022: Appeared in a home win versus Morrisville...Missed most of the season due to injury.

2021: Played in four games...Grabbed a 10-yard reception in a home victory versus Utica.

2020: Member of the program but the season was canceled.

High School: Graduated from New Fairfield in 2020...Member of the honor roll...Two-year starter in football...Earned all-conference and all-state honors on offense and defense in both 2018 and 2019...2019 New Haven Register third team all-star at defensive back...Competed on the track and field team for one year.

Other: Member of the Dean’s List and President’s List at Cortland.

Parents: Stefanie and Kent Thuesen...Mother is a 1993 Cortland graduate and was an All-SUNYAC softball outfielder...Siblings: Justin, Jake, Zack...Zack played at Cortland from 2019-23 and was a team captain in 2022 and 2023.
