Biography
2024-25: Marcello finished 13th in the 100 meters (personal-best time of 10.97 seconds) and 13th in the 200 meters (22.67 seconds) at the SUNYAC Outdoor Championships...Was 14th in the 200 meters (22.84 seconds) at the SUNYAC Indoor Championships...Posted a personal-best time of 7.19 seconds in the 60 meters at the Nazareth Conference Challenge Cup...Competed in 10 meets during the indoor and outdoor seasons for the Red Dragons.
Prior to Cortland: Attended Suffolk Community College...Two-year member of the track and field team...Placed fifth in the 200 meters (season-best 22.36 seconds), seventh in the 100 meters (11.07 seconds), and ninth in the 4x100 relay at the 2024 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships...Was a member of the 4x100 relay team that finished fourth, and had individual finishes of fifth in the 100 meters (10.99 seconds in prelims, 11.18 seconds in finals) and 11th in the 200 meters (22.51 seconds) at the 2023 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Championships...Also a member of the soccer team at Suffolk C.C.
High School: Marcello graduated from West Islip.
